While the initial UX strategy prioritized the consumer home-use product, we identified a long-term opportunity to extend the platform into the sports club ecosystem. A successful launch in the consumer market would serve as a foundation for a future coach-focused solution — envisioned either as a standalone coaching app or a tiered upgrade path within the existing consumer app.
To explore this opportunity, we tested a prototype of a coach-oriented experience using the smart ball technology with handball clubs. The pilot revealed strong alignment with key coach pain points, including the need for tools that support individualized player feedback, progress tracking, and addressing the skill gap within team training. The concept offered a scalable way to deliver personalized development and inclusive mastery experiences, ensuring all players felt seen and supported — a critical insight that informed our roadmap for potential B2B product extensions.
